Robert Bunsen - Robert Bunsen with a long name Robert Wilhelm Eberhard Bunsenwas born on March 31, 1811 and died on August 16, 1899. Robert Bunsen was aGerman and is widely known as a great chemist of the country.

During his lifetime Robert Bunsen was a researcher from the emission spectrum ofheated elements. He then found cesium in 1860, then the following year he returned to find rubidium and colleagues named Gustav Kirchhoff.

Bunsen also was known during his life as a pioneer in the field of photochemistry, as well as conduct preliminary work in the field of chemical organoarsenic. With theassistance of his lab assistant named Peter Desaga, he has successfully developed aBunsen burner.

Besides known as an inventor, Bunsen also was a lecturer at Göttingen. After threeyears teaching at the polytechnic school Kassel, Bunsen finally received an associateteacher at the University of Marburg.

At the University of Marburg he came back to continue his study of cacodl derivatives.For his research, the Bunsen eventually promoted to full professor in 1841.
